Two years ago I wrote about the pivotal role that Steve Jobs might play in healthcare. Despite his passing, that role will nevertheless emerge with medical applications using SIRI on the iPhone.
Voice-driven decision support is the future of medicine. People speak at 300-500 words per minute (5-10 x faster than typing). In 10-15 years, doctors will be amazed that we contemplated the practice of medicine without a voice-driven SIRI.
The genius of Steve will live on. Thank you.
